This page describes, in plain language, what FileShare Pro stores and why. It applies to the app at file-share-pro.com and pages served at fileproapp.com.
Your account. When you sign in with Google (or email), we store your email address and a display name. We use it to identify your files and workspaces — never for marketing lists, and we don’t sell it to anyone.
Your files. Files you upload are stored on Cloudflare R2 and served from fileproapp.com. Public links are accessible to anyone who has them — treat the link itself as the access control, or disable it any time (that takes effect within seconds). Deleting a file removes both the stored object and its link.
Comments. When comments are enabled on a file, commenters’ chosen names and comment text are stored with the file and visible to whoever can view the thread. Guest commenters don’t need accounts, so give us only the name you want shown.
Analytics. We count views on shared pages (page, country, browser user-agent) to show owners their view stats. Shared pages may include Google Analytics; file owners can turn this off for their files in settings. The app itself sets only the cookies needed to keep you signed in.
Bug reports. If you use the in-app feedback tool, the report includes a screenshot of your current view and technical context (page structure, recent script errors) — visible only to you and FileShare Pro admins.
Where things live. Infrastructure runs on Cloudflare (files, serving) and Supabase (database, authentication), in US regions. We keep data only as long as your account exists; delete your files and they’re gone from storage, not just hidden.
